A new chapter…or two

A couple of days ago I inspected my new Phoenix. My neural pathway adjustment will still take a month or so before I can connect the capsule to it but I felt I had to see it with my own eyes. I also brought along a skeleton crew of officers and maintenance personnel to let them assess what sort of crew complement will be needed. You could see the awe on everyones face but the look of those of Caldari descendant nearly brought a tear to my eye.

Crewmans diary

The faith of that crewman whose family tried to raise some claims about their sons death has lingered in my mind for some reason (I got mail). So I got personnel to get me all info they could about him and they found a diary. I’ve decided to publish some of the last entries here, might be interesting so get a glimps of an ordinary grunts perspective on this crazy game of death we capsuleers call just another day in space.

Visit back home

So, I took a week off from capsuleer life and visited Nonni and Caldari Prime for a family gathering. The point of the gathering was to remember and pay respect to our ancestors. It was interesting to see people I haven’t met for years and the new additions. Several of my cousines had children now. I can’t say I feel a need to get any myself though. I saw plenty of myself in the kids so the genetic survival of the family is safe without me adding to it.

Tuvan

I get a lot of strange looks from people, it’s only natural since I’m a capsuleer. But since I joined Ushra’khan I get even more strange looks. I guess people just can’t see why someone would give up the easy life in CONCORD patrolled space for the rough life as a freedom fighter in no-sec and often completely cut-off, deep in hostile space. I guess at some point in life one just wakes up and find oneself with a clear focus. For me it was the intrinsic right of individual freedom for all human beings.
