Security Status: EVE’s other currency

“Shin come to Sagain.”

The message comes in on the corp channel as I’m working on the second part of the Recon missions. Feeling ratherĀ  bored. I decide to join my merry cohorts in some carnage andĀ  destruction. After I finished the mission, of course. ;)

A quick clone jump and a change of ship later, I’m out in space. Decided to go with Stay and Chat! my Broadsword-class heavy interdictor for a couple of reasons. One: I’ve never flown her in combat before. Two: Focused Warp Disruption fields. You get one of those locked onto your ship, your only hope is to fly out of range. quickly. Turns out that they’re really fun to fly too. :)

I even managed to get ome blood on my ship too. Helped tackle a Curse-class recon ship, then I killed the capsule. “You killed the capsule?”, some of you may be asking, “Won’t that drag your security status down?” Oh hell yeah! Went from +5 to +1.76 last night. :) But as a friend of mine told me a long time ago: “Sec rating is another form of currency to be spent.” Bring it up by shooting pirate NPCs, drag it down by shooting other players. Repeat as needed. :)

Forgot to take some screenshots of Stay and Chat! during last night’s gang op, but one of my corpmates brought along his Legion-class strategic cruiser, +for+we+are+many+ and I grabbed a shot or two of that.
