Just a quick thought for today. The little bit I’ve been involved in Factional Warfare so far has been quite good. I prefer small gang pvp over 0.0 blob-fests any day. From what I’ve done so far, the largest engagement was 15 on 15 or so. I’m sure there are larger fleet engagements sometimes, but this seems to be just my style of play. Now if I could just stop losing hurricanes…

Almost immediately after creating this blog I decided to take a break from the game for an unknown period of time. I’ve re-subscribed now and plan on making updates as ideas strike me. For now I’ve left my corporation and have become another random factional warfare pilot, flying the dark in search of targets and good fights. I’ve had a few and am enjoying myself more than I have in quite a long time.

The purpose of this is to share opinions, insights, and helpful tips about Eve Online and hopefully get some discussion going.
A short history of my time playing Eve:
I started up in 2006 and quickly joined a player corporation. We had a good time together learning the ropes but most of those folks lost interest and I went my own way. After asking once in local chat about any corporations interested in newer players, i was quickly drawn into the corporation I’ve been in since that time. I’ve tried most of everything Eve has to offer: Industry, mining, marketing, pos management, empire wars, griefing suspected isk farmers, low sec engagements, 0.0 pos warfare, fleet battles, alliance logistics, operations management, the list could go on. One thing I’ve never done is piracy. I have nothing against pirates (after all, they’re good for business) but the reward never seemed high enough. Currently I’m spending some time in empire, getting back to the industrial and financial side of things and relaxing, which is why I think i have time to contribute to the Eve community.
Hopefully I’ll post frequently and perhaps more hopefully someone will read what I have to say. I may end up changing topics from time to time as the mood strikes but will always return to Eve eventually.
