If we spam them with enough threadnaughts the CSM should listen to us.
FW has been repeatedly ignored by both the previous CSM and CCP, and obviously needs fixing.

And now, onto the first of the FW problems; plexing. It’s a much discussed topic on the forums, with chest beating on both sides. CCP have stated that the plexing mechanic is a way for FW pilots to engage in combat (I’ll keep from using the term pvp for now, as it’s such a wide-ranging term that can include anything from trading to spamming). However, it has proven that this is not the case, many pilots on all sides fit dedicated pve setups on their ships, including stabs, which to me seems to be exactly the opposite idea to what CCP seems to have intended.
Part of this may be due to the imbalance of the rats, the gallente having the hardest time – caldari navy NPC’s have missiles which *will* hit, and infinirange ECM. This is a relatively minor point, but one worth mentioning, if only to bring this in line with the other rats, all of which use turret weapons and relatively ineffective forms of EWAR.
Another, more major reason, might be that once you are entrenched in a plex, it will require large odds to force you out – impossible to force a large gang of 50+ pilots to leave, with the lag situation as it is. In any other situation, with equal forces, the defenders will invariably win if they have even a periphiral amount of competance about them.
Also, plexing is boring. Sitting round a button for at least 10 minutes at a time, the only reward being a few dog tags, and some standings? There is no LP reward to plexing, except for the special plexes spawned by the FW NPC corporation agents. However, the lack of unique items from the LP stores of these corporations, and the increased risk, make it worthless. Some, the 22nd BRDU in particular, have said that flipping a system is a reward in itself; to a relatively casual player like me, putting in the effort of constantly plexing a system to force a change that is as little as some text across the top-left of the screen, which makes no difference to anything yet; this seems like a worthless goal. CCP should introduce some sort of mechanic that rewards flipping systems – a large faction standing boost and LP reward for those who take part in popping the bunker?
Also, fix cloaked plexing, it’s an unintended bug which has been exploited by everyone and caused endless amounts of whining on the forums – quite a bit of that whining directed at CCP refusing to comment on or even acknowledge the issue.

Well, after following a link in a random signature, I’ve decided to start an EVE blog. I’m a pilot currently in a FW corp, with some PvP experience. As anyone who’s participated in the blob to blob lagfests which are known as ‘fleet flights’ might guess, a popular experience is never to enter space, but be eternally stuck on this, until you wake up in your local cloning facility. I’ll be using this to post my views, many of which may have been repeated ad nauseum, and others which amount to nothing more than good old QQ.
