Welcome one and all…

Welcome to my Blog which his the vehicle i am using to tell the story of my Character in game. I am a 21 year old college student with no actual experience writing so this is merely a labor of love for my own purpose than for any sort of gain aside from that. The schedule i plan on keeping for this is at least a post a week. I will post the new update sunday evening or early monday morning. The old stories were just a warm up with what i have in store for you now.  You want action, you got space battles, you want love?…  there will be some pretty steamy scenes in the future, you want drama and conflict?…  well when you have a group of people interacting in a small space on a daily basis you’ll have your drama…  just you wait… hehe.  But once again i welcome you all to read and comment away on the stories, discuss what you might think will happen next, request your character be cameo’d in the story or just tell me how awesome i am or if your so inclined how i need to be taken out and shot…lmao.  All comments are welcome but if your gonna be mean at least be constructive about it.  And wihtout further adieu, i bid you enjoy!

Covert entry into plain sight

The whole of space, standing at ones doorstep.  Waiting with opens arms to be explored and have its depths plundered of its loot and treasure.  Some of it is knowledge of how the universe ticks, other times it is materials used to build new and more exciting things to blow each other up with.  Other times its just for the sheer view and beauty of the nebulas and astral bodies that orbit suns and planets.  To each and every pilot that flies in this wasteland they find their own reason to do so.

A cold silent shell of a ship suddenly appeared in the black.  It was small compared to the other ships floating near by, using the nearby star gate to traverse the universe.  The shuttle sat there, floating aimlessly in space not moving sitting in the shadow of a giant freighter.  The difference in size was staggering.  The shuttle being about 66 meters long was nothing compared to the massive body of the freighter.  Clocking in at 2426 meters it dwarfed every ship in the vicinity as it slowly glided towards the star gate.

The view from the shuttle however was still breath taking regardless of its size.  The sight of space everywhere Lolion went was amazing, it never lost its appeal.  He quickly tapped a few buttons on a screen to his right and the engines of the shuttle quickly came to life.  A light blue plasma propelled the shuttle forward towards its next destination.  The shuttle aligned itself with the coordinates of a station Lolion frequented regularly and the warp drive started to warm up.  Within a second the warp drive shot the shuttle hurtling towards the station faster than any conventional engine could travel.  Lolion watched as he blew past several planets and asteroid belts along the way.  Probably passing a few hundred other ships going along their merry way doing what ever fancies them in their line of work

Within a minute the shuttle came out of warp and was a few clicks away from a towering station orbiting a nearby moon.  It was a Caldari station he was docking at today.  Its cold hard outer shell looked like something that came out of a factory, cold hard, steel.  Not much of a flair like the Gallente or Amarr stations, the Caldari preferred simple practical designs that emanated their own personality best.  Lolion preferred these designs as well, it made it a lot easier to rig things to his ship when he needed to which was always nice.

Lolion decided to run the automated docking protocol this time instead of talking to the docking authority.  He was tired and really didn’t feel like drawing attention to the fact that he was going to be on the station.  He was already famous enough in the region as is, and didn’t need the extra headache of people clamoring to get a look at him.   His shuttle was pulled into the station and stopped with a hard lurch as the electromagnet braces grabbed onto the shuttles hull.

Lolion grabbed his bag and left the shuttle, locking it remotely with his data pad he left the hangar doing his best not to be seen by too many people.  He chose to dock when most of the stations inhabitants were asleep so he’d have less of a chance of being seen and tackled by people who admired him.  He hated the spot light, never did anything good for him… if anything it made it harder to operate and get the things he wanted to done.  Not to mention now is office was flooded with phone calls and messages asking for an interview, or an autograph.

He didn’t really do anything to warrant such a spotlight in the popular culture of the day.  Sure he made a few well publicized donations to places and fought in quite a few space battles on behalf of people and in the end saved a lot of people, but he didn’t want anything for doing that.  It was what was right at the time.  Now all he could hope for was to keep his head low and avoid as much publicity as he could.  Being a regional icon was a lot harder than it looked.

He made it to his office on the station and decided to camp out there for the night.  Better not risk going out again he thought to himself as he set his bag down in the corner and fell onto the couch.  He rubbed his eyes thinking of all that he needed to do in the coming weeks to get ready for this idea of his.  He had heard rumors of the worm holes that popped out of no where and how little everyone knew about them.  The thought of them stayed in the front of his mind, teasing him with ideas of fame and recognition beyond what he was facing now.  If he was able to explore these new regions of space or find some way to profit from them he could retire early.  He laughed at the idea mainly because he was immortal being a Capsuleer.  But non the less the idea was seared into his mind and he just couldn’t shake it.

Lolion grabbed a pillow from the other end of the couch and tried to get comfortable.  Rolling around on the couch for the best position he could find he made a mental note to himself to get some better furniture in his offices.  He urged his mind to let go of the frantic racing it has been doing the past few hours in order for him to get some sleep.  It wasn’t easy trying to relax knowing what was to come in the next few days, but eventually he slowly faded into a light slumber dreaming about the riches that were to be found on the other side.
