I stand in the viewing platform of the space station, looking out the window at my Raven class battleship hovering in the hanger bay, I reflect on how it does look a bit like a raven, wings outstretched as if it were about to fly off, and the main cabin where the birds head would normally be.

Although the color is not as sleek and dark as the bird, more of a gun-metal Grey with the various scars and scorch-marks of battle. The size is a lot bigger than the bird also, at roughly 460 meters its gonna hurt a lot if you get pecked on the head by this thing.

Since I know the target starbase is undefended I’m equipping my Ravens launcher hard-points with 6 close-range high-damage siege missile launchers. Capable of firing an ultra-heavy nuclear torpedo, the sheer damage potential is simply staggering. Though I’ve often wondered why they aren’t named torpedo launchers rather than siege launchers, all it does is cause confusion…

Bonus Kill part 1

The Corporation I fly for has put the word out.

There’s a Star-base Tower, a huge metal construct, basically a skyscraper in space, dozens of stories high, that needs to be destroyed in low-security space.

Usually Star-bases, which are used for moon mining, ship building and booster production amongst other things are heavily guarded by defensive turret batteries attached to them.

But for some reason the modules needed for the Star-base to function properly are missing, including the defenses. Only the tower remains.

But not for long…
