Slipstream Sleep

Piracy and tomfoolery – Not necessarily in that order

The Slipstream

It’s an odd thing, space.

Cold, but we ‘of the pod’ never feel that.

Vast, but warp drive and jumpgates end that mystery.

Fluid, something pod pilots experience every day.

Most of all, it’s dangerous. And that’s where the fun begins.

It was always dangerous, space. Having a few milimetres of hull between you and vacuum? Standard place. Pods pilots? Well, we’re the reason that eight-hundred milimetres of tungsten is there.

Does one aspire to be a pirate, or does piracy aspire to snare them? Whatever the case, it’s become apparent.

It’s damn good fun.
