While I like the idea of a scientific-themed battlecruiser, it would obviously never be used in pvp. The concept of Tech 3 ships seems to partially rely on the idea that you the pilot are going to invest a lot of yourself in them, because you can customize them more than ever before but also because you can lose skillpoints if you are in the ship when it explodes. No pvp means that the risks of losing your ship are dramatically lower than for Strategic Cruisers. Arguably, losses will still happen, and you might have higher skill levels (up to level 5) by the time they do, thus balancing the overall skill loss.
And I like very much the names you propose. Very thematic!

I know what you mean Manasi. I would like a ship that is utilised for fighting as well, but from my exploration side (havent used it in a while) I have always wanted to see science ship. And who wouldnt love a T3 hulk that has guns on it, the perfect bait.

Great idea. I hope someone from CCP follows these banters. Also: CCP continues to expand the exploration side of Eve Online ... it's space, who knows what you might find out there.

well normally anything that doesn't allow me to fight better has gotten a resounding NO as of late...but I do understand where you are coming from. The BC I think need some love...yes they have the command ships ( which are god awful) expensive and such so any love throw the BC way would be very appealing. Not sure if I want the BC hull to not be involved with fighting ( no fighting means lack of loss which means constant high prices, IMO) I am certainly on board with the BC becoming the next T3 varient...just worried about cost inflation is all....a 750M science ship would be a shame to lose...
