Well some of you may have noticed that over the last month or so that I have not posted a blog entry. You may have even noticed that my blog had disappeared off the net completely.

So there are a couple of Memes going around the first one started by Freebooted who wants us bloggers to tell everyone what our blog is about. A while ago Manasi went through and categorized the then current blog pack members into what he thought each blog was about, in which he placed me under the division of Hostile Acquisitions and Takeovers and a War Reporter. The second one is to link a picture of the systems you have visited in Eve (can’t remember who started this one, though it has actually been done before). So being the economical person I am I decided to do both of them in one post.

Well today I left OUCH and joined another corp. The reasons for this was that I felt that I didn’t have the time available I needed to devote to teaching OUCHs new recruits due Uni starting up again and that I also wanted to be in a PvP focused corp that was good at what it did.

The last week or so I have been dealing with the fallout of attacking Chribba and then being kicked out of the alliance along with my old corp I.M.M. For the most part this has involved moving assets out of Esoteria and then setting up shop elsewhere. I have also joined a new corp.

October has been a busy month, lots of skills have been completed and even better my characters have found some direction. There have also being a series of wars Systematic-Chaos has being involved in, while I.M.M has even made the in game news.

Skills
Well this month as seen my characters progress that little bit further. Prometheus09 has trained up thermodynamics allowing him to overheat his weapons. Indecently this got me some more certificates : ). I have also got him to train every mechanic skill that he can so I can now use every rig in the game. Normally, I train something as I need it but I decided training all the rigs I didn’t have would be a good idea. Caladan09 can now fly logistics ships, in particular the Guardian, which I intend to buy for him so I can run plexs with some remote rep. Fishy Night has being slogging away at Drone Interfacing five so he can fly a carrier, which will be possible in about 7 hours (If i had the ISK to buy the skill book that costs 450mill).
ISK
Ran some plexs got some ISK and bought my Phoenix, which left me with next to money and I need about another 1.5 bill to buy fittings, insurance and more skill books.
Combat
This month saw the introduction of Operation Kent, which looked like it was going to be a success until my Manticore got blown up, resulting in Operation Kent being placed on hold for the time being until more plans can be made. After a little break in the middle of the month I decided to go high sec ganking, which originally was hulk pilots in general but has now moved to ganking macro miners. The alliance has being continuing the campaigns against Brick Squad and roams into GoonSwarm space.
The Future
Skills wise I don’t realy know where Prometheus09 is going. There are a couple of level fives skills I may put him on (only so I can get more certificates) or maybe he may get his learning skills finished off to where they should be. Alternativly, I may train him to use a Proteus and T2 salvagers, code breakers and analysers. Caladan09 also has no real direction at the moment but Minmitar Cruiser 5 is currently being trained. He may get into that rapier yet. Fishy Night though has a whole skill plan set ahead for him. 30 days to get some fittings for carriers and then about 100 days to get a assortment of T2 drones. I will also be spending a fair chunk of time ratting (I hate it) to earn ISK and repair Promtheus09’s sec status.

Update
Haven’t had much time to play Eve due a couple of rough weeks at uni so I have had now PvP at all. Skill wise my characters are on long skills at the moment (though I gave Caladan some trading skills) so there has being no change there. The biggest news of the week is that I now have 770 mill in my Dreadnaught fun, the majority of which has come from running some plexs (post coming soon) and a bit from trading (though I still don’t know how to do it well).
Pirate Faction ship Changes
Go here and have a look at the changes that CCP is going to be making to pirate ships. Most of the changes look quite nice. I am quite happy to see that the Guristas dual weapon bonuses are being removed as they were pretty fail. The Glia (Guristas Cruiser) looks like it could show some promise. It has 400m3 dronebay with 125m3 drone bandwidth allowing it to field a flight a of Heavy Drones plus its three launchers. With the same mid and low slot layout as a Drake (though less CPU and powergrid) it will be interesting to see what kind of passive tank you can get on it. Or maybe you will be able to get a good nano fit on there. Would like to try it out on EveMon.
