Creating pages in WordPress

Creating individual pages in WordPress is quite similar to writing a post. You should simply click Add New in the Pages menu.

Add New

When you are ready with your new page, click Publish to save it.

Publish Page

The main difference between pages and posts is that pages are static and will stay put, accessible through the top menu or a side bar, where as posts will display in blog/news format with the most recent first, and older posts getting pushed down.
